Faïza Guène is a French writer and director. Born in Bobigny to parents of Algerian origin, she grew up in Pantin and began studies in sociology at Université Paris VIII before abandoning them to pursue writing and directing full-time. She has published numerous books to date, alongside writing regularly for New York-based Respect magazine and directing several short films.
