Biography:

Samira Khashoggi was a Saudi novelist and short story writer. Born in Mecca and educated in Egypt, she received a BA from Alexandria University. Khashoggi led a vibrant literary career, having published several essays and articles in various Arabic-language magazines, although she also dedicated a significant portion of her life to activist efforts, heading the Young Women of the Arabian Peninsula Club among other organizations. She passed away in March 1986.
